Specific Conditions of Use
The following conditions apply to the safe installation and use of the equipment.
i. Under certain extreme conditions, non-metallic parts of the enclosure may accumulate electrostatic charge capable of causing ignition. The equipment must not be installed in locations where external conditions are conducive to electrostatic charge build-up.. Cleaning must be performed using a damp cloth only.
ii. Charging is allowed in non-hazardous areas only.
iii. Charging must be performed using a power supply with a maximum output voltage of 12.0 V, complying with one of the following:
- SELV or PELV system
- Safety isolating transformer compliant with IEC 61558-2-6 or an equivalent standard
- Equipment compliant with IEC 60950 series, IEC 61010-1, or an equivalent standard
- Directly powered by cells or batteries
